Russell Lee Seifert, age 82, of Ft. McCoy, Florida, passed away on November 6, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1943, in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Alvin and Gladys Seifert.
He is preceded by; His parents and an infant sister.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Sandra Seifert; sons, David Geiseman, George Seifert; daughters, Debbie Henney, Diane Geiseman, Helena Seifert ;Anna Hamilton ,sister, Judy Meyer; brothers Dr. Ron Seifert and Norman Seifert.several grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
All his life he loved fishing for catfish and hunting. But mostly he loved to make people laugh. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. He loved his family and friends so much. He served 32 years in the Army and retired a Command Sergeant Major. He loved his country.
The cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home. Internment will be at Fort Custer in. Battle Creek, Michigan at a later date.
