Russell was a telephone man for over 30 years, holding many positions with Southern Bell and ATT.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 50 years, Nancy Palmariello Thomsen, daughter Heather Roesler (Eric) of Boynton Beach, FL. Brother William Thomsen (Teresa) of Fort Pierce, FL and sister Barbara Lawson (Partner Roy) of Farragut, TN. His sister-in-law Dianne Dickey (Gene) of Mocksville, NC and Joan Leavitt (Jay) of Palm City, Fl along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Russell was a wonderful, loving husband and father, who was happiest when fishing in the beautiful Florida waters, especially off South Hutchinson Island where he resided for many years.
Come join us for a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3 pm on October 4th, 2025 at Del Lago Chapel, 131 S. Lakeside Dr., Lake Worth Beach, Fl 33460. The private interment will be held later.
