Charlton – Ruth Anderson, 72, of Bay Path Road, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on September 19th, 2025, after her courageous battle with leukemia.
Ruth is survived by her children; son David Jenkins Jr., and his wife Amy of Hubbardston, her daughter, Natalie Davis and her finance Shawn Walker of Ashburnham, and her sister, Linda Scott of Arcadia, FL. She is also lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, Jacob, Laine, Ella and Quinn, as well as her ex husband, Andrew Anderson who remained supportive through this difficult time.
She is predeceased by her brother, Ralph Reinhold Jr.
Ruth was born to Ralph and Grace (Buckley) Reinhold in Worcester, MA on February 16th, 1953. She graduated from Charlton High School in 1971, and went on in her career to become a Post Master for the Charlton post office, retiring in 2010 as the Post Master in Auburn, Ma.
A member of Charlton City United Methodist Church, Ruth was a woman of strong faith, regarded as a pillar of the church. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, loved to play a good game of cribbage in between her hours of sewing and entertaining her beloved cats, Ezmerelda and Stanley. Ruth loved taking long adventurous road trips whenever she could. Family was her number one priority, surrounding herself with her loved ones at every opportunity.

A Memorial Service for Ruth will be on Saturday, September 27th at 11am, at Charlton City United Methodist Church, 74 Stafford Street, Charlton, MA.
A calling period will be held from 9am to 11am prior to the service in the church.
