It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruth Ann Morman, who departed this life peacefully on February 23, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on December 4, 1951, in the vibrant city of St. Louis, MO, Ruth was the cherished daughter of the late Denver and Ruth Sikes.

Her journey through life was marked by a deep love for family, an unwavering dedication to service, and a zest for living fully. Ruth's life story is one of devotion and enduring love. She shared an extraordinary bond with her high school sweetheart, Ronald Morman, whom she eventually married, crafting a life filled with shared dreams and cherished memories. Their union was a testament to love's enduring power, as Ruth remained a steadfast partner, dedicating much of her life to taking care of Ronald with compassion and unwavering support.

A woman of grace and gentle strength, Ruth spent her professional career working diligently as a secretary for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her dedication to her community. Ruth found joy in volunteering at the Oswego Police Department's Citizen's Academy, where she made lasting friendships and left an indelible mark with her kindness and warmth.

Ruth's passions were as diverse as they were vibrant. She had a deep fondness for her little Yorkie dog, Little Bit, whose companionship brought her endless joy and laughter. An avid traveler, Ruth delighted in exploring new horizons, collecting memories from places far and wide. Her heart danced to the tunes of Golden Oldies, and she held a special place for anything Elvis, becoming a lifelong fan of his music and charisma.

Ruth's gentle spirit and loving nature were felt by all who knew her. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Ronald, and her beloved sister, Dori, and brother-in-law Danny Johnson, along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she adored deeply. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived, full of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Though she now rests in peace, Ruth Ann Morman's spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved-a testament to a life well-lived and a love everlasting.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. For information: 630/554-3888 or www.dunnfamilyfunerlahome.com
