Ruth Ann (Bozenske) Baggott 87, of Martins Ferry passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV. She was born September 17, 1937, in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Louis B. and Mary "Mamie" (Ryan) Bozenske.
Ruth retired from the former A & P Grocery store after 31 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she served as a Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy class of 1955.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles R. Baggott in 2004, siblings, Richard, John, Robert, James, William, Louis, Bernard, Howard, Edward, and George Bozenske, Virginia "Ginny" Salata, Mildred Bozenske, sister-in-law, Hilda Bozenske and best buddy "Bo".
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 10 till time of service at 12 noon at the First Christian Church, 710 S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH 43935. Pastor Rod Kasler, Brad Johnston and Henry Lewis will be officiating. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: The Angel Fund at Town & Country Animal Hospital, 831 Old Fairmont Pike Wheeling, WV 26003.
