Ruth Baker Obituary
Ruth worked for many years in factories and mills in the local area, retiring from the White Mop Wringer Company in Fultonville.
Ruth's world revolved around her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Her loving family includes her children, Diane (David) Lersch, Robert S. (Elaine) Baker, Joseph (Suny) Baker, Tammy Heroth, Tracy Bentley, and Rebecca Baker; her siblings, Claudia, Janet, Arnett, and George; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Aside from her parents, Arnold and Alta, Ruth is also preceded in passing by her brother, Clifford.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 10 at 11:00AM at the Evergreen Cemetery, 296 Martin Road, Fonda NY, 12068.

Ruth or Ruthie was my cousin. We grew up together in Fort Hunter and Tribes Hill. She was a very petite, and pretty child. We grew apart after I married and moved out of state. There were some events where we saw each other over time. She was a mother to her brothers and sisters while they were growing up. Our sympathy's go out to her family. I'm sorry that another link to the Billington family is no more.
