She was born on August 18, 1964, in Johnson County to the late Jesse Ray and Gladys Marie Arms Baker.
Survivors include her lifelong companion: Larry Davis of Staffordsville, KY; four sons: William (Renea) Davis of Coldwater, KY, Jasper (Shelby) Davis of Coldwater, KY, Archie (Alice) Baker of Paintsville, KY, Jesse (Micha) Rife of Salyersville, KY; one daughter: Edith Sweeney of Beauty, KY; three brothers: Ron Arms of Flat Gap, KY, Harold (Sherry) Baker of Staffordsville, KY, Bill (Ruth) Baker of Thelma, KY; two sisters: Mary Mollett of Paintsville, KY, Carolyn Bishop of Paintsville, KY; a special niece- Jacquline Hannah of Thelma, KY; her fur baby- "Baby Girl" along with nine grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Monday, December 29, 2025, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Jim Wheeler and Brian Dewire officiating. Burial will follow at the Scott-Baker Cemetery in Salyersville. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made in Ruth's memory to the Jones-Preston Funeral Home by contacting them at 606-789-3501.
Jones-Preston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
