Ruth Elaine Borgers

Ruth Elaine Borgers, a cherished woman known for a quick wit and an angel food cake, passed away peacefully in her home on September 15, 2024 at the age of 81.
Born July 17, 1943, in Sullivan, Missouri, she was the daughter of John T. Crews and Dorothy D. Crews. She attended Washington High School.
Ruth married Marvin Borgers in 1982 on a snowy January day. They shared 39 years together. She is preceded in death by Marvin, as well as her sister, Judith M. Marquart. Ruth is survived by sister, Mary Rode and Mary's husband, Oscar Rode; her son John David Jones and wife Rebecca Jones; step-son, Robert Borgers and wife Karen; her grandchildren, Evan Saint Cloud and her husband Kyle, Peyton Edwards and husband Jonathan, Olivia, Camryn, Maxwell, and Mitchell; and her loyal cat, Queeny. Ruth was an avid garagsaler, renowned baker, lover of games, and master gardener. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, and will be missed by many.
