Ruth Ann Busack, 82, of rural Clyde, died at her home on Thursday, August 15, 2024 with her family by her side.
Ruth was born in Green Springs, at the home where she was raised, on July 20, 1942.
She graduated from the former Green Springs High School in 1961.
Mrs. Busack was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where she had been a member of the choir. She also helped in the kitchen for the funeral dinners. She liked to read, where she used her skills for being a reading tutor. She liked to decorate cakes for various occasions. Ruth loved to quilt, she was working on one when she became ill. Her favorite things were going on the motorcycle trips with her husband, especially enjoying their trip to Alaska, along with being a mother! Ruth was a "fantastic "mother!
Prior to retiring from Clyde Pro Hardware, Mrs. Busack had worked at the former Latham's in Clyde, in the bakery and decorating cakes and at Ames in Fremont.
On January 23, 1965, she married James E. Busack in St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde.
Jim, along with three children, Barbara Hansen (Todd Ayres) of Fremont; James Brian Busack of Fostoria and David (Lori) Busack of Republic survive. Four granddaughters, Katherine, Kelsey, Kimberly; and Alexis (Quinton) Orosz survive.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Rose (Burns) and Harold Keith Drown, along with her sister, Carolyn Stearns and brother, Donald Drown.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 20,2024 from 3:00pm until 7:00 pm, with Christian Wake service at 6:45 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral mass will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will be in Egbert Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's.
