Edna attended St. Joseph Catholic High School where she graduated in 1970. She also attended the Fremont Beauty School where she became a Beautician, a career that would touch the hearts of many. She was heavily involved in school and Parish activities and volunteered when she could. She loved crafting and shopping; but above all, she loved her family.
Her greatest joy was her family. No matter the time, no matter the circumstance.
On September 20, 1975, Edna married Jim Scherf and together they have shared over 50 years of love and cherished memories.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jim of Fremont; son, James “Jimmy” (Lindsey) Scherf of Duffield, Virginia; and siblings; Thelma Stanley of Fremont, Jose "Pepe" Jr. (Laurie) Flores of Derby, Kansas, Fernando Flores of Bedford, Ohio, Victor (Elisa) Flores of Clyde, Ohio, and Rene (Amy) Flores of Fremont; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Guadalupe; and sister, Yolanda Miller.
Edna leaves behind a legacy of devotion, strength, and unconditional love. The kind of love that feeds you, checks on you, and always makes space for you. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
