Ruth Cales Obituary
TROY - Ruth A. Cales, age 62, of Troy, OH passed away on February 5, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 18, 1963, in Troy to the late George E. and Magdalena (Meyer) Griffieth.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years: David Cales; sons: Jordan Cales and Blake (Ame) Cales; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: George Griffieth.
Ruth attended Troy High School. She was a dedicated mother and wife. She liked playing video games, watching movies and Disney cartoons.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
