My life was forever changed by Ruth´s kindness and faith. She was always there for me during many of my trials and triumphs. I am so glad to know I have many pieces she had made for my family and I. From a patriotic quilt from when my husband was deployed, a pillow that says "love never fails" for our wedding, a quilt for our little boy for my baby shower, and numerous burp cloths she made after our little boy was born. I´m honored to have all of the little pieces to hold onto that she made for us, but even more so all of the memories made with her, conversations we´ve had, and all of her unwavering faith, courage, and strength. Ruth - you will be dearly missed by us, but I have no doubts that you´re in Heaven and we will meet again one day. To Ruth´s family - know that you´re never alone. We are always here for each of you. May God give you strength and love today and the days ahead.

My deepest condolences to Ruth's family. When we first met Devin was still riding on her hip, Brent and Jordan trailing along. We developed a friendship and shared many deep conversations about life, always over a fresh cup of coffee. Ruth was a fabulous cook, baked the best cookies, and created beautiful quilts all while keeping her home in perfect order and never having a hair out of place. Ruth's faith in Jesus was simply amazing throughout her journey. Who wants to leave those we love? Her deep faith and conviction gave her the strength that many long for.

I'm saddened to think I'm unable to be there for Ruth's service
I remember when her family moved to Watkins Hill Rd as a young girl. She and my younger sister became fast friends and doon Ruth became another one of my parents girls. She is and always will be an extended family member.
One of my favorite memories is when my sister, Kate and Ruth Ann would walk through the cow slop out back of the barn having it ooze between their toes then hose off in the milklhouse.
Ruthann and her brother Bradley both lost their best friends at the same time. It was fate my Mom and Bradley meeting each other in the Pittsburgh airport to give each other a hug.
Ruthann and Zane became close along with Elijah. Zane kept in touch with her Mom's best friend.
Ruth is a good soul, friend, mother and grandmother. She will be missed here on earth. I'd like to think she and my sister are frolicking on the streets paved in gold and catching up and sharing stories. God bless Ruthann and her family.
