The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Union Baptist Church of Filbert, 1945 Ratchford Rd. York, SC 29745. The Memorial service will start at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Tony Klinedinst officiating
Ruth was born on October 3rd, 1941 in Manchester, NH to Rita Hebert Duval and Rosaire Duval. She is a member of Union Baptist Church of Filbert.
She is survived by her husband Emile George Chevalier Jr. and her children, Colette LeMay, Susan Chevalier, and Michael Chevalier (Linda). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Chevalier (Abbey), Celeste Chevalier, Krista Chevalier, and Mat LeMay (Christina), along with her great grandchildren, Tyanna Beck, Sophia Beck, Aaliyah Beck, Lawson LeMay, Coleman LeMay, Delaney LeMay, and Wilke Chevalier.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son David Chevalier.
In memory of Ruth Chevalier memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church of Filbert, 1945 Ratchford Rd, York SC 29745.
