Ruth Ann Dingus, age 70, of Jackson, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 23rd, 2023, surrounded by her family and the comfort of her dog, Opie.
She is survived by her siblings: Joyce (Jerry) Dingus of Deer Creek, Ohio, Sarah (Dave) Krishak of West Jefferson, Ohio, Amy (Anthony) Elkins of Oak Hill, Ohio, and James "Jimbo" (Brigitte) Carpenter; daughter, Brandy Ervin; son, Justin (Kim) Dingus; nine grandchildren: Lindsay, Laiken, Clayton Ervin, Asialyn, Triston, Roger, Selina, Jonna, and Brett; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and James Carpenter; daughter, Amber Landrum; grandson, Dalton; as well as sisters, Rosetta and Gail.
The family takes comfort in knowing that she has gone home to be with the Lord.
As she always said:
"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 30th, 2023, from 2-5PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with a service to follow at 5PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to .
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

Always helping someone she was very funny she could put a smile on ur face even if u was down and out she could always bring u out of it she was such a good person and loved to talk and tell stories she made the best noodles and potatoes I will miss her ...
