Ruth Everetts Obituary
Ruth Parvin Everetts, age 84, of Ward, Arkansas, went home to be with Jesus, Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born in Austin, Arkansas on June 30, 1939, to Calvin and Valrie Kirkland Parvin. She was a lifetime member of Apple Hill General Baptist Church.
She retired from the Cabot School District in 2000. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, crafting, sewing, baking, and taking care of others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry "Shorty"; son, Mark; sister, Velma Manasco; daughter in law, Karen Everetts; nephews, Chris Henley, Bill Manasco; and niece, Joyce Manasco Scarborough.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Helen Clayton; son, Jeff (Lorelei) Everetts; daughter in law, Becky; grandchildren, Dawn Brewer, Chad Everetts, Krisi Freeman, Robbie Everetts, Emily Goodwin, Andrew Everetts; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Ruth's celebration of life and her homegoing service will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas. Visitation will be at 12:00 Pm and funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Apple Hill Cemetery.
