Ruth Formichella Obituary
She is survived by her eight children, twenty-eight grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Hope Church in Syracuse on February 28, with a calling hour at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of her husband, James Formichella, to The Michael J. Fox Foundation at www.michaeljfox.org.

Dear Formichella Family, I knew Ruth as our choreographer in the Believers. She was not only a patient and talented dance teacher, but she also went out of her way as our costume designer and seamstress. I will always remember her as a kind, funny, and generous role model for all the kids who worked with her. Although Father John Morse pulled us all together, it was Ruth and Rose Ostrander who did the real work, and they were loved by everyone for it. My God's peace be with you all. Matt Withers
