Ruth N. Frey

Ruth N. Frey, 92, of Greensburg, formerly of Murrysville and Vero Beach FL, passed away
December 8, 2023. She was born June 4, 1931, daughter of the late Agostino and Anna Marie
(Torti) Estatico. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Veral Neal
Frey Jr., as well as eight brothers and sisters.
Ruth was a graduate of Peabody High School. As a young girl she sang in the choir at United
Methodist Church in East Liberty. She later performed locally with a 4-part harmony group The
Ear Ringers. Active in Pittsburgh's CLO, in 1982 Ruth was chair of the Civic Light Opera Guild's
Pink Frolic Ball. In the 1980's, Ruth was the president of Vee Neal Airlines at Westmoreland
County Airport in Latrobe, then at Jetstream Airlines in Erie PA. After moving to Boca Raton
Florida, she began a successful career as a realtor with Keller Williams.
With her positive energy, infectious smile and generous spirit, Ruth will be remembered as a
loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a talented
homecook and gracious hostess whose Christmas dinners were legendary.
Ruth is survived by four sons: Charles Frey, Tom (Laurel) Frey, John (Lori) Frey, James (Laura)
Frey; eight grandchildren: Raina and Gwen, Randy and Julie, Katie and Susan, Matthew and
Alex; four great-grandchildren: Dexter and Meadow, Walker and Vaughn. And her pal Louis.
She is also survived by brother John (Jeanie) Estatico of Claridge, sister Beatrice Tamburri of
Litchfield Park Arizona and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a future date at First Presbyterian Church of Murrysville.
Entombment will be at The Murrysville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation "In Memory of"
