GILLIS, Ruth F. (Martin) Of Westwood, formerly of Dedham and West Roxbury, February 16, 2026. Beloved wife of James L. Gillis for 73 years. Devoted mother of James L. Gillis, Jr. of Attleboro, Carol A. Gillis and her husband, William of West Roxbury and the late Anne E. Prall and Barbara J. Gillis. Loving grandmother of Jay and Jonathan Prall, William and Samantha Gills and the late Kacy Gillis. Great-grandmother of Aiden and Madeline. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Sibeli and Alouse of Gentiva Hospice and AK, her live in healthcare aide. Visiting Hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, on Thursday, February 19, from 2-4pm. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, February 20, at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Dedham, at 10am (accessible parking in the rear of the church).
