Ruth Hummel Obituary
Ruth K. Hummel, 95, passed away on October 16, 2025. She was born on June 16, 1930.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hummel, parents, Harry and Ellen Sarver, brother, Wilbur "Bud" Sarver, sons, Mark Steven Kendrick, James Joseph Kendrick.
Surviving family includes son, Paul (Paige) Kendrick, grandchildren, Jennifer Ann (Eric) Kendrick, James Lee (Wendy) Kendrick, Tina Marie (Jenny) Kendrick, Stephanie Lynn (Nick) Niggemeyer, Timothy Kendrick, Adam Paul (Amanda) Kendrick, Michael Lee Jorge (Emily) Kendrick, Jason Charles (Ellie) Kendrick, niece, Brenda (Joseph) Seely and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Angela Helen (Michael) Ritchie for their wonderful care and friendship she provided for many years.
Visitation will be held from 10:30am-12:30pm, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065, where a funeral service will begin at 12:30pm.
Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the SPCA.
