Joann Serafin, born on August 26, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, in Dublin, Ohio. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and greatunt who cherished the moments spent with her family.

Joann was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Anna Serafin, who have predeceased her. She was raised in a loving home that laid the foundation for her strong family values, which remained central to her life. Joann's dedication and love for her family were evident in all her actions; she took pride in nurturing the relationships she held dear.

Joann enjoyed a fulfilling career as a radiology technician, devoting many years of service at The Ohio State University, from where she ultimately retired. Her dedication to her profession was matched only by her passion for her family, which she often expressed in conversations and gatherings. Joann's friends and loved ones will fondly remember her warm personality, her laughter, and the love she freely shared.

She leaves behind her brother Gary (Cathy) Serafin, her niece Catianna (Zach) McKendrick, her nephew Wesley (Mallory) Serafin, and her adored great-niece Cecelia McKendrick. Each of them carries treasured memories of Joann, a woman who touched their lives with kindness and warmth.

As we reflect on Joann's remarkable life, it is clear that her legacy of love for family will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but remembered for her unwavering compassion and the joy she brought into the lives of her family and friends.
