Ruth Husfelt Obituary
Ruth Ann Husfelt, 80, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on April 6, 2024.
She was born in Chestertown, Maryland, grew up in Maryland, has lived in Georgia for 21 years, and moved to the Thomson area two years ago. Ruth enjoyed meeting new people, riding her golf cart around the neighborhood, painting ceramics, cooking for her family and going to Walmart. She was Methodist by faith and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, James Leonard and Lula Mae Middleton Leonard and her daughter, Janie Chance. Her survivors include her husband of 47 years, William Robert Husfelt; her daughter, Kristie Davis; her son, James Chance, Jr.; six grandchildren, Angie, Michael, Willie Alaysha, Taylor and Ryan and three great grandchildren, Kai, Johnny and Donnie.
Her Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, and her Funeral Service, being officiated by Rev. Melissa Reynolds, will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
