Barbara Ann Husfelt

Barbara Ann Husfelt (Boyer) age 86 of Wilmington, Delaware peacefully passed away on November 20, 2025.

She was the daughter of Harold Boyer and Mary Wilkie of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Barbara Ann attended Ridley High School and was in the Class of 1957.

She was a very caring, loving person. Her family was the most important thing in her live. After high school she worked at State Farm as a key punch operator until she started her family. When Barbara Ann's children started school, she went to work as a cafeteria worker in the Brandywine School District.

She enjoyed days at the beach sailing with her husband, snow skiing in the winter and country dancing for many years. Barbara Ann enjoyed a long and happy life.

She is survived by her husband George A. Husfelt of 46 years; two sons, Gregg Weible of Deltona, FL and Jay Weible and his wife Cathy of Garnet Valley, PA and two step-daughters, Debora Lewis and Valerie Moran and her husband Steve Desmond, both of Wilmington, DE. Barbara Ann's pride and joys, her six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson will dearly miss her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 from 10-11 am with a memorial service to follow at 11 am at Brandywine Valley Church, 7 Mt. Lebanon Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Love in Action Program at Brandywine Valley Church, 7 Mt. Lebanon Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803. (Make payable to Brandywine Valley Church, in the memo list LIA)
