Ruth Ann Jump, 82 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, 13, 2025. She was born September 4, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Jack and Pauline E. Rosensteele. Ruth was a daycare worker at the Valparaiso YMCA for 25 years. She was married to Charles William Jump who preceded her in death October 15, 1999. Surviving are her children, John (Donna) Murbarger, Diana (Donald) Cyphert, Michael (Joanne) Murbarger, Deanne (Jim) Robinson and William (Naomi) Jump, several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a brother Jim Rosensteele. She was also preceded in death by her son David Murbarger, her parents and her sister Linda. Visitation with her family will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, August 19th at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso.
