Mack entered this life on May 15, 1942, in Atlantic City NJ. In time his family settled in Cleveland, OH where Mack spent the majority of his youth. Upon graduating from high school, Mack and a lifelong friend hitch hiked Route 66 to California. This sense of adventure and spontaneity would continue to be a defining factor throughout his life.
As a young man, Mack worked for GM in Cleveland where he completed an associates degree. He was transferred to Indy where he continued his education eventually completing a Masters degree in Industrial Organization Psychology.
Mack embodied the spirit of "living in the moment". His life was defined by curiosity, enthusiasm and laughter, always eager to embark on something new and exciting. Some of his adventures include: living on his sailboat in the FL Keys, tap dancing, boat building, raising Irish Wolfhounds and numerous motorcycle trips throughout the Midwest. Mack and Sandy eventually married in Las Vegas, immediately hopped on a motorcycle, spending a week touring the Southwest and revisiting Route 66.
Mack's life will live on through his love of music. Mack was fortunate to grow up in a very musical family which provided the foundation for his talent. Mack composed much of his music which he published and copyrighted. Instrumental portions were picked up by the Discovery channel and used on multiple television shows. Mack performed professionally in Cleveland and IN while releasing a couple of records. Mack made numerous friends through his love of music.
Mack always cherished time spent with family and friends, from big family vacations to afternoons playing guitars and telling stories. Mack knew no strangers and if you met Mack, you had a friend for life. His infectious spirit and enthusiasm knew no bounds.
Mack moved on to his next adventure on August 11. 2025 with Sandy by his side.
