Ruth M. Kent, 96 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Three Pillars-Riverside Lodge in Dousman. She was born on March 14,1929 one of nine children born to Edward and Mildred (nee: Dixon) Corby. On November 1, 1947 she married Carl A. Kent, together they shared 66 years of marriage before his passing on September 2, 2014. Ruth enjoyed square dancing, camping, spending time with her family and visiting with her sisters. She was a longtime member of St John Neumann and St Mary Catholic Church.

Ruth will be sadly missed by her son Larry Kent (Dian Winter), daughter Laura Pazdernik (Tim); grandchildren, Tara Rae Kent (Jacob Lavigne), Lindsey (Adam) Kent-Nelson, Kelly Kent, Kyle (Carol) Efferding, Leah Efferding-Tuft, David Kindred and great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaeden, Kingston, Gavin, Dylan, Kendall, Susie and Brady. She is further survived by brothers, Dale (Karen) Corby and David (Maxine) Corby, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Carl she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marilyn Gonzales, Florence Sheldon, Patsy Kowalczyk and brothers, Richard, Earl and Eddie.

Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2025 at Corpus Christi Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave, Waukesha from 10:00a.m. until the funeral Mass at 12:00p.m. Private burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ruth’s name are appreciated to Corpus Christi Parish.
