Ruth M. Knepp, 79, of Mifflin, passed away at 10:42 AM on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born on July 28, 1944 in Tuscarora Township, Juniata County, she is a daughter of the late Harvey Palm and Edna (Carson) Palm.
Ruth is survived by her children Kenneth Wayne Knepp and wife Robin, Deb Huber and husband Christopher, Russell Knepp and wife Jacquiline, Shelley Knepp and companion, Ann. She was survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Palm and wife, Linda and James Palm, as well as her four legged kids Abby and Toby, whom she loved raising.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew "Andy" Knepp who passed away on April 17, 1998. She was also preceded in death by three children, Anthony Knepp, Alma Knepp and Cheryl-Lee Knepp.
Mrs. Knepp was employed for over thirty years by Empire Kosher.
Ruth was a Christian, who loved to cook, sew, and make crafts. She also loved gardening and tending to her flower beds.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at McCoysville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Knepp's memory may be to Locust Grove Retirement Village, 69 Cottage Road, Mifflin.
