Ruth Knopf Obituary
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Heyward Crowson and Ruth Cain Crowson.
Mrs. Knopf was a retired head gardener at Boone Hall Plantation and was a world-renowned rosarian.
Surviving are two daughters, Caroline Knopf Stetler (Mark Stetler) and Karine Knopf; a brother, Bruz Crowson (Joanne Crowson) and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jim Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Monday, one hour prior to the service, at Grace Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Charleston Horticultural Society.
