Ruth Hall Ross Levesque, 91, entered her eternal home on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at her residence in Sophia, NC.

Ruth was born in Patrick County, VA on January 10, 1935, to the late Willie Osbourne Hall and Fannie Lou Frye Hall. In addition to her parents, her husband Brady Ross; her children, Drema Joyce Perdue and Brady Keith Ross; granddaughter, Wendy Michelle Perdue; and 14 siblings all preceded her in death.

Ruth worked all her adult life up to the age of 82. She worked in multiple industries and was providing in-home care to senior adults when she was forced to retire due to a back injury.

Ruth was an avid doll collector and proudly displayed them in her home. Her love of dolls stemmed from the fact that she never had dolls as a little girl growing up in a family with 14 kids. Saturday mornings were spent going to yard sales in the community when the weather permitted. She was very frugal with her money but was very generous when her friends or family needed a little hand up.

But more than anything Ruth loved her family. She was happiest when her house was filled with chatter, singing, and kids running around playing. Music was always a big part of family gatherings.

Ruth attended church at Sunset Avenue Church of God in Asheboro, NC (Pastor Boyd Byerly) for 20 years.

Ruth is survived by daughters, Teresa Dawn Powell, Robin Renee Burrow (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Eric Marlowe (Kelly), Mandy Wagoner (Randy), Bradley Perdue (Mindy), Kristin Hill (Marc), Heath Burrow (Jayme), Penny Medlin (Brian), Jessica Armstrong, Casey Burrow (Jordan); great-grandchildren, Nathan Marlowe, Carter Marlowe, Devan Marlowe, Molly Ingram (Bryce), William Perdue, Jersey Hill, Brady Hill, Preston Armstrong, Kevin Beesley, Chance Medlin, Will Wagoner, Dylon Wagoner, Scarlett Burrow, Asa Burrow, Della Burrow, Abram Burrow, Ryanne Burrow, Ty Burrow; one great-great grandchild, Charlie Ingram; second husband, Bob Levesque; sister Nova May.

The family will greet friends from 12:15 until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Cumby Family Funeral Service at 206 Trindale Road in Archdale, follow by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Jeffrey Burrow, and burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

Condolences may be shared on Ruth's tribute page at www.cumbyfuneral.com.
