Ruth E. Mackey, 63, of Sandwich, IL passed away on September 22, 2025. Ruth was born on March 7, 1962 in Monroe, WI to Lewis and Ruth (Surrell) Walter Sr.
Ruth lived an adventurous life on her terms and fought cancer courageously for the last 5 years.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Anne Bozman; Son, Matthew (Kim) Jones II; Grandchildren, Mason and Mia; Sister, Juanita Walter; Brothers, Rick Walter and Terry Walter; Niece, April (Lorenzo) M. Vasquez; Great Niece, Kristin A. Vasquez; Great Nephews, Joshua Vasquez, Lorenzo Vasquez and Alex Vasquez; As well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, James Surrell, Lewis H Walter Jr., Robert Walter and Raymond Walter; As well as a sister, Lula Emily DuBois.
