Ruth was such a wonderful lady to spend time with at Beth Shalom. My mother, Elizabeth Wheeler" was "very fond" of her. We will certainly miss her but are so thankful she is pain free now.

Now together again with Uncle Sam, Aunt Ruth will never again feel pain. We must now hold onto all the wounderful memories she has given us.

Aunt Ruth's passing marks a milestone in our family - the end of the whole generation of parents, aunts, and uncles that were her siblings and the source of so many memories. We honor her life, her love, and the devotion she had to family and friends. I look forward to a reunion being planned to celebrate not only Aunt Ruth but also her brothers, sisters, and parents. Let us know if you are interested. This is what she would have wanted and an event at which she will no doubt be present in her own special way.
A lively and loving lady Ruth,
Caring, helping, speaking truth,
A heart of gold and spirit bold,
A plate of pasta, glass of wine to hold.
That only begins to tell the story.
Little about which she didn’t worry.
The pain of loss and grief she bore,
Yet faith and hope maintained her core.
Her joyful legacy of life our gift,
To each a smile, to all a lift.
She’s gone from us for now,
Before the throne of God she bows.
We’ll miss her and her kitchen treats.
By faith again some day we’ll meet.
But now her eyes are on that special man,
Her love, that long lost, Sam I am.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruth's family, especially two very "special" nieces. She will be greatly missed at Discovery church. We will remember her fondly and often.

My sincere condolences to Ruth's family. What a pleasure and privilege to know Ruth! She had a beautiful smile and such a zest for life. I will always treasure her friendship, our time together and getting to know her family. I'm sure Sam was waiting with open arms for Ruth.
