Luz Celeste Diaz Mateo, of Mattapan, formerly of Bani, Dominican Republic, passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Emilio Diaz. Luz is survived by her children Rafael, César, Damaris, Yocasta, Francis, Adonis, Andres, Loruel and siblings. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, February 4 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Her family will gather again at the funeral home on Thursday, February 5 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM before traveling to New Calvary Cemetery for interment services.

Luz Celeste Díaz Mateo, de Mattapan, anteriormente de Baní, República Dominicana, falleció el 30 de Enero de 2026 a la edad de 87 años. Amada esposa del difunto Emilio Díaz. Le sobreviven sus hijos Rafael, César, Damaris, Yocasta, Francis, Adonis, Andrés, Loruel y sus hermanos. El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Brady & Fallon, ubicada en 10 Tower St. (frente a la estación Forest Hills del MBTA) en Jamaica Plain, el Miércoles 4 de Febrero de 5:00 p. m. - 8:00 p. m. Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados asistir. Su familia se reunirá nuevamente en la funeraria el Jueves 5 de Febrero de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m. antes de dirigirse al Cementerio New Calvary para el sepelio.
