Ruth Evelyn Minton

Ruth Evelyn Lowery Minton, age 84, of Woodburn, KY, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023, at her home.
The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements.
A private entombment will be held in the mausoleum at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
A celebration of life meal will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 2pm – 6pm at Franklin Church of Christ. 700 S. Main Street, Franklin, KY.
Ruth was born in Salmons, KY to the late Mary Frances Honshell Lowery and the late Eugene Lowery. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Lowery Breon; brother, Gary Wayne Lowery; and granddaughter, Sara Michaela Hurt.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Donna) Minton of Barre, Massachusetts; Terry (Susan) Minton of Bowling Green, Kentucky; Sandra (Michael) Hurt of Franklin, Kentucky; Tina Parkhurst (Wayne Embry) of Morgantown, Kentucky; Grandchildren, Aaron (Christy) Minton, Chad (Jessica) Minton, Josh (Hannah) Minton, Julia Minton, Mallorie Parkhurst, Joseph Klokoc, Danielle Minton, Eli Hurt, Colton (Molly) Hurt; Great-grandchildren, Sawyer Minton, Wendy Lou Minton, Theodore Minton, Sam Minton, Cole Minton, Ty Minton, Asa Minton, Brooklyn Neeley, Brianna Neely; Sisters, Vickie Sue Boyd, Linda (Roy) Cowles; brother, Michael (Robin) Lowery; aunt, Rosa Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was loved dearly by her friends and family. She had a strong work ethic and was with Holley for over forty years. Her hobbies included rocking babies, shopping and getting her nails done. She touched the lives of so many and will truly be missed.
