Ruth Ann Morgan, 78, died on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Ruth was born in Delaware County, Indiana to Jay and Violet Marlene (Scott) Walker. She graduated from Delta High School and married Ronnell M. Morgan on February 21, 1966 in Cookville, Tennessee. Ruth and Ronnell were truly soulmates that raised their three children here in Eaton.
Ruth was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Eaton, Disciples of Christ. She worked in food service for the Tippecanoe Country Club and later worked for Walmart for fifteen years.
Surviving are her children: Joddi Morgan, Ronnell Morgan Jr., and Suzanna Wilson; her brother, Robert Walker; her sisters, Carolyn Lockhart, Mary Neal (Johnny), Shelia Guyer (Skip), Cindy Starrett and Karen Bertram (Les); two grandchildren: Ann-Marie Lane and Nicholas Lane as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Ronnell Morgan Sr., and a brother, David Walker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Grace & Mercy Full Gospel Church 301 E Harris St., Eaton with Rev. Cindy, officiating.
Burial was made next to her husband at Eaton Union Cemetery, Eaton.
