Mary Ann's greatest joy in life was her family–especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for adventure and lived life to the fullest. She loved traveling and dancing and singing along at concerts. Mary Ann loved spending summer days boating or relaxing on a beach. In the fall you could find her watching a football game or sitting by a cozy fire.
Mary Ann had a gift for making every moment special. She adored decorating for the holidays, Christmas shopping for her loved ones, and hosting family gatherings filled with laughter, love, and her delicious meals. Mary Ann was a constant image of strength, love, and braveness.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving partner, Patrick McConnell; her mother, Dollie Rees; and her children Michelle (Logan) Alley, Marc (Shelby) Concannon, and Mitchell (Taylor) Concannon. She was a proud Mimi to Wyatt and Scarlett Alley, Ella and Max Concannon, and Palmer Concannon. She is also survived by her sister, Susan (Kurt) Katterhenry; a nephew and niece, Garrett and Caroline Katterhenry; bonus children, Logan, Colton, and Leah McConnell; and her mini-goldendoodle, Gwen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Rees.
Mary Ann will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, from 3:00 pm until service time at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to METAvivor, Inc, 7780 Elmwood Ave, Suite 130. Middleton, WI 53562.
