Ruth Morlock Obituary
Ruth graduated in 1947 from Mt. Vernon High School. She was a member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Ruth was Co-Owner of Heart of Harmony Antiques in New Harmony. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, sewing and all antiques.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Morlock of 60 years; sons, Steve and Brian Morlock; and siblings, Charlie Walker, Dorothy Walker, Louise Smith and Harold Hancock.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Morlock (Sherrie); grandchildren, Shelly Morlock, Melissa Perkins (Caleb), Angela Morlock (Ryan Maroni) and Eric Morlock (Jacy); great-grandchildren, Peyton Bromm (Evan), Reaghan Nelson, Landyn Jackson, Evalyn Perkins, Addie and Layton Morlock; and brother, Robert Walker (Doris Jean).
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mt. Vernon, IN with Rev. Rick Sellers officiating and burial to follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion General Baptist Church, 1425 Oliver Rd., Wadesville, IN 47638.
