On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Ruth Ann Newlander, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 80.
Ruth was born on January 12, 1943 to Thomas and Ruth in Seattle Washington. On December 30th, 1960 she married Robert W. Newlander. They raised four children Robert, Heidi, Michele and Brian.
Ruth's first love was her family. She also was a very gifted Baker and Cake decorator. She used these skills and passion on many occasions such as weddings and the Rainbow Festival, which honored the Disabled.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Tommy, mother, Ruth, husband, Bob and grandson Jeremey. She is survived by her four children and numerous grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at Edline-Yahn and Covington Funeral Chapel. Viewing will begin at 11 am with the service at 1 pm. A reception will be held after the service. Ruth's graveside committal ceremony will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery at 10 am on February 17, 2023
