Ruth married her husband James O’Bryant, in 1948, and they were married for 61 years before his passing in 2009. They had two daughters; Debi Stepp, married to Ray Stepp, and Donna Carter, married to Steve Carter.
She greatly enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren: Heather Parrish, married to David Parrish; Steven Carter, married to Katie Carter; and James Stepp, married to Mercedez Stepp. She cherished spending time with her 8 great-grandchildren: Carter Parrish, Luke Parrish, Avery Parrish, Cody Carter, Kaylie Carter, Brenden Stepp, Madden Stepp, and Harlan Stepp. Ruth immensely appreciated her caregiver: Darla Carter, as she helped Ruth with all her daily needs for the past 5 years.
