Ruth Louise Rabatin, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on February 25, 1948, Ruth spent her life embodying the qualities of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering faith, which she generously shared with all who crossed her path.
Ruth was a born again believer whose love for others reflected her profound faith. She often put the needs of those around her before her own, making her a pillar of support and strength to many. Known affectionately as “Aunt Ruthy” or “Momma Ruth,” she embraced these titles with humility and joy.
Her legacy will forever live on through her loving children, Matthew (Judy) Rabatin, Mark Hall, and Irene Rabatin, who carry forward her spirit of compassion. As a grandmother, Ruth took immense joy in her grandchildren, Lukas, Natalie, Madison, McKinley, and Easton, who brought her endless happiness and pride.
Ruth's generous spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she forged strong bonds with her goddaughters, Roxy Fisher and Heather Howard, blessing their lives with her nurturing guidance. She also shared a special connection with her brother, Pete Speas, and leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.
Though she is reunited with her beloved husband, Paul Rabatin, and her mother, Irene Grubb, in a place of eternal glory, Ruth leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, demonstrating how a kind word or compassionate gesture can light up even the darkest days.
As we honor Ruth's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life dedicated to loving others and exemplifying the virtues of faith. Her impact on this world was profound, and though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts she touched. Rest in peace, dear Ruth, for your journey continues, and your light will never fade.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
