Ruth A. Seebach, a cherished resident of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 12, 1936, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Ruth was one of seven children born to Jennings Clark and Flossie Clark. Her early life in Ohio would set the foundation for a lifetime of intelligence, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
Ruth's career was marked by her meticulous attention to detail and steadfast reliability. In the 1970s, she worked as a typesetter for Moran Printing in Baltimore, where her precision and skill were highly regarded. She later worked with her husband recording data for the Chicago Title Company, where she served diligently for over 20 years. Her colleagues remember her as a dependable and committed professional.
Ruth was an active member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Baltimore. From the early 1970s through the early 1990s, she served as a reader, providing guidance and support to her community. She was a woman of strong and unwavering faith in God.
Ruth was a loving and supportive wife to her husband, William H. Seebach Jr., who she leaves behind. Their bond was one of profound partnership and shared purpose, evident in every aspect of their 53-year marriage. They journeyed through life side by side, attending college together, pursuing careers in tandem, and finding joy in each other's company. She was the light and love of his life. Ruth's presence made their house feel like home.
Her love for animals was another defining aspect of Ruth's generous spirit. She found delight in feeding and caring for wild animals and birds, a testament to her nurturing nature.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Jennings and Flossie Clark. Her memory will be cherished and celebrated by her beloved husband William, as well as the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at Stallings Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm followed by an interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to animal welfare organizations, reflecting her lifelong love for all creatures great and small.
