Ruth Shibler, age 76 of Clayton, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023. Ruth was born July 22, 1946, in Alabama to Joe Titus and Edith Laura Johnson. She married Samuel Clearence Shibler on May 10, in Clayton, Michigan.
She loved bowling and was a nursing assistant at Lenawee Medical and Adrian Healthcare.
Ruth loved her daughters and wanted the best for them. She grew up in Alabama and was a hillbilly at heart.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Shibler; her daughters, Dawn (Jeff) Escott, Chasity (Mike) Black, and Rhonda Fosgate; her grandchildren, Kevin (Shawn Williams) Anderson, Samanatha (Nic) Burke, Seth Anderson, Kaleb Anderson, Patrick (Toni) Hoag, Jane Escott, Matt Escott, and JJ Black; her great-grandchildren, Daxten Burke, Kensington Anderson, Kylie Anderson, Briella Brown, Brayen Brown, Josh Hoag, McKenzie Huley, and Henry Renier; siblings, Mary Clement, Bill (Darlene) Grubbs, Butch Grubbs, Christine (Jim) Lee Donnie Shibler, Suzie Osburn, Harry Grubbs, Sue Grubbs and her good friends, Darlene Grubbs and Marilyn Faucher. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jean Bullock, Betty Elliot, J R Johnson, Bill Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Mart Grubbs, Ron Shibler and Jim Lee.
At Ruth's request, cremation has taken place.
