Sally E Meads

SALLY E. MEADS, age 82, of Onsted, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility, Adrian. She was born on June 27, 1943, in Jackson, the daughter of Clifford W. and Addie M. (Gilbert) Clevenger. Sally married Merle D. Meads on April 16, 1982, in Cement City. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2014. She worked at Wacker for several years, retiring in 2007. Sally was a member of Gateway Community Church, Onsted and enjoyed playing cards. Sally is survived by her daughters, Lisa (David) Schneider, Lisa (Russell) Pierce and Amanda Branson, sons, Edward (Debbie) Meads and Duane (Bernadette) Meads, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, Gordon and Gene Clevenger and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Laura Barrow, brothers, Morris, Gilbert and Juan Clevenger, and sisters, Ruth Cattell and Shirley Quick. Funeral Services for Sally will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, At the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Tom McMichael, officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held from 3-5 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Lenawee.
