First of all,
I would like to say to Ruthies family:
How very very sorry my husband daughter and I are for your great loss. I just now 10/2/19 found her obit I cant tell you how sorry I am. I have been trying to reach her for over a year now and knew something was wrong. I have been checking the Obituaries every few months we live in Saratoga Springs NY and vacation in Long Beach Island yearly. We did not go last year as we went to Italy instead so I have missed seeing Ruthie I knew something was up when her phone was disconnected but I had no way to reach any of you she was a wonderful friend to my family and myself she treated us as if we were part of her family.
Every single year when we came to LBI we would visit her at her home or she would visit us at a house that we would rent on the island we have known her since 1999 when we met her at the Quarter Deck restaurant where she was hosting, we knew Roger also. She would carry my daughter around as a bay like she was her own Grandaughter she just loved my Julianna (who is now 19) I knew when she didnt respond to her graduation invitation something was definitely up?
Our hearts are broken that she is gone but we are overjoyed to know she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her precious Roger who she missed so very much. We know we will see her again one glorious day and we look forward to that!
She was a true friend and a lovely woman with a huge heart who touched so many lives, she made an impact on ours, my whole family loved her!
Please know she meant the world to us she was another grandmother to my daughter Julianna and we were all very close to her we even stayed a few times at her home when we came down a day or two early for our vacation, she was always an incredible hostess when she would have us for dinner at her home her desserts were over the top amazing we will miss those cakes !!! Ruthie was such a blessing to me and my family we loved her beyond measure and we will treasure her memory forever. I want you to know how much she adored all of you especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren she spoke about them constantly!!! I feel like I know you!!!
She had an incredible love and appreciation for all of you, she was always so very proud of her family!!!
