Ruth Touschner Obituary
Age 110, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, following a long and full life. Born on Nov. 21, 1912, in Dushore, PA, Ruth was the daughter of the late, George & Anna Kinser Huffmaster. In 1932, she married Vincent F. Touschner, who preceded her in death in 1988. Ruth was employed at the Berger Sharon Silk Mill for many years, and she and her husband also served as caretakers of St. Mary's Church and School. Ruth enjoyed sewing, quilting, and being outside gardening. Having outlived most of her family, she is survived by daughters-in-law, Sharon (Fred) Lambert and Dorothy Touschner; grandchildren, Annette (John) Roberts, Pamela (Mark Talboys) Touschner, Ann (Bill) Stangl, and Jeffrey Scott (Joanie) Touschner; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicholas, Mary, James, and Claire; great-great-grandchildren, Sabel, Mason and Adelina; in addition to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Francis V. Touschner and James J. Touschner; grandson, Mark Touschner; sisters, Frances Huffmaster and Bertha Huffman. All services will be held privately.
