Ruth Louise Waldner

Ruth Louise Waldner, age 83 of Warrington, PA passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 18, 1941, a daughter of the late Gerard and Carrie (née Reinhard) Lange. Ruth had been living in Warrington for almost three years, formerly of Trappe, Blue Bell, and Northeast Philadelphia. 

She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Blue Bell and Grace Lutheran Church of Warminster. Ruth enjoyed shopping, getting her hair and nails done, being a comic, and most of all she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth had many careers including being a loving Mother, sales associate for John Wanamaker department store, associate at Ruthann’s convenience store, and she eventually retired from the IRS. 

She is survived by son, Robert (& Helen) Waldner of Cherry Hill, NJ; daughter, Debra MacIlvain (& Ken Farabee) of Ambler, PA; son, Eric (& Michelle) Waldner of Warminster, PA. Ruth is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jack Jr. (& Lexi), Amanda, Sean (& Shelby), Brianne, Robert Jr. (& Anna), Victoria (& Andrew), Eric Jr. (& Andrea), Andrew, and Jacob; as well as her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Charlotte, Riley, Tessie, Birdie, and Kellin. She is also survived siblings, David and Susan (the late Richard).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Anthony Waldner, her son, Joseph Waldner, and her son-in-law, Jack MacIlvain, and siblings, Edward (Jean), James (Peg), and Paul (Pat).

A funeral service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church located at 6024 Butler Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Family and Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, Ruth’s family would appreciate memorial contributions made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church at the address above.
