Ruth Theresa Wilke of Moscow Mills, MO passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 85. Ruth was born May 18, 1939 in Florissant, MO, daughter of the late Henry and Frances Schuette. Ruth married the love of her life John J. Wilke, Jr. on September 14, 1968 and celebrated 44 years of marriage prior to his passing on September 6, 2013.
Ruth was a devout Catholic, her faith was a very important part of her life. She was employed as a housekeeper for St. Theodore Parish at the school, rectory, and church. Ruth and John loved to travel together when they could get away and going out to eat together. She enjoyed cooking and baking, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, and watching various TV shows such as the Game Show Network, Friends, Golden Girls, and reality true crime shows. She was very passionate and proud of her grandchildren. She loved being a Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma and attending their sporting events and other activities.
Ruth is survived by her three sons, Jeff (Gina) Wilke, Jack (Lacy Eisenbath) Wilke, Kenny (Megan) Wilke; daughter, Aimee (Donald) Bader; ten grandchildren, Danielle (Tim) Patterson, Nick Wilke, MarissaWilke, Rachel Bader, Sophia Wilke, Lydia Bader, Emma Wilke, Evalena Wilke, Tristen Wilke, and Tyler Eisenbath; one great-grandson, Everett Patterson; siblings, Kenneth Schuette and Robert (Mary) Schuette, Mary Dickherber and Judy Stetson; sisters-in-law, Janet Boland, Charlene Schuette.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John J. Wilke, Jr., brothers, Walter Schuette, Richard Schuette, Ralph Schuette, Harold Schuette, and Tom Schuette, sisters-in-law, Sue Schuette, Barb Schuette, and Peggy Schuette, brothers-in-law, Francis Dickherber and Jim Stetson.
