Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel - LampasasRyan Christopher Anderson, 34, passed away on February 4, 2026, at his home in Killeen, Texas. Ryan was born on February 12, 1991, in San Bernardino, California to Cathy Anderson and Ronald Rankin.
A Celebration of Life for Ryan will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, 201 E. Third St., Lampasas, TX on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2 pm.
Ryan grew up in Redlands, California. He graduated from Redlands East Valley High School in 2009. After high school, he attended Crafton Hills College in Crafton Hills, California. Shortly after, Ryan relocated to Westminster, Colorado where he worked with a roofing company before returning to Redlands.
Ryan was active in wrestling and baseball while in school. His main interests that were lasting were extreme sports. He had a passion for dirt biking, snowboarding and water sports of all kinds. He loved nature and enjoyed camping and hiking.
Although he never married, he deeply loved the people in his life with whom he formed deep connections. His true strength was not in eloquent words, but in the soulful depth of his presence - a quiet understanding between kindred spirits, and gentle souls.
Ryan had a profound curiosity for other cultures and countries. He experienced many countries in his short life, fully embracing their cultures, and loving the differences that make us human.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward Ronald Rankin at a very young age.
Ryan is survived by his cherished son, Ryan Anthony Anderson of Twentynine Palms, California; his mother, Cathy Lowe of Killeen; his sisters, Michelle of Wisconsin, and Crystal and Candy of Arizona; his brothers, Jimmy, Corey, and Jesse of Arizona; his nephew, Jayson of Wisconsin; his niece Amber of Missouri and multiple other beloved nieces and nephews in Arizona and California.
