Ryan Michael Chastain, 6 months, of Dixie, GA, passed away on Wednesday – January 7, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Friday – January 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Missy Lamb officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Ryan was born on June 11, 2025 in Thomasville, GA, to McKayla Christine Skinner and Korey McKenzie Chastain. He was such a happy baby and perfect in every way. He was the light to the day for his big sister and everyone around him.

The family would like to give a special thank you to great-grandparents Chuck & Freida Rabaut for their kindness and compassion during this time, Heather & Joe Harding and Aiden and Isaac, as well as Southern Regional Technical College, Lowes Home Improvement Store, and Victory Fellowship Church.

Survivors include; his parents, McKayla Skinner (Wayne Howell), Korey Chastain, both of Dixie, GA, siblings, Ayla Lily Everett, Ollie Boyette, Oakley Chastain, and a stepbrother Braxton Howell, grandparents, Juliet Skinner (Michael), Scott Chastain, Heather Flowers, Mike Taylor (Susan), all of Dixie, GA, and Barbara Watson (Ken) of Thomasville, GA, great-grandparents, Gary Skinner (Maxine) of Dixie, GA, Ovime Bailey of St. Vincent, West Indies, and Chuck Rabaut (Freida) of Tallahassee, FL, aunts & uncles, Ashley Hayes (Anthony) of Ochlocknee, GA, Heather Harding (Joe) of Ochlocknee, GA, Hunter Singleton (Julie) of Valdosta, GA, Rocky Hayes (Emma) of Ochlocknee, GA, Kelton Flowers of Augusta, GA, Hailey Singleton of Hahira, GA, Christopher Gambrel of Thomasville, GA, Donovan Howell of Thomasville, GA, Leslie Williams (Derrick) of Quitman, GA, and Starla Val of Boston, GA, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Chastain, great-great-grandmother, Betty Jane Skinner, great-great-grandparents, Tom & Mazie Thornsberry.
