Ryan Crump Obituary
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, June 10, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Mt. Gilead. Rev. Evelyn Crews and Rev. Chip McAulay will officiate and burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday Evening, June 9, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home of Mt. Gilead.
Ryan was born October 18, 1990 in Montgomery County to Jimmy and Kathleen Metzgar Crump of Mt. Gilead. He was a 2009 graduate of West Montgomery High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Gilead and was self employed.
Ryan loved his family and was always smiling and goofing around, especially with his nieces and nephews. Ryan loved the mountains and hoped to live there one day. He loved being outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, camping or gold panning. Ryan loved his animals; Lola, Sophie, Otis, Albus and Athena. Over the years there were many more from dogs, cats, snakes and even an opossum.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers Matt Crump (Brooke) and Adam Crump (Stacey) all of Mt. Gilead. His girlfriend Makayla Bacon and nieces and nephews, Mason, Bailey,, Jaxon, Caylee and Lincoln.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents Lindsey and Christine Crump and George and Cecelia Metzgar and his uncle George Metzgar Jr.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Mt. Gilead or Mt. Gilead Fire Department.
