Ryan Davis, 46, who passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at his residence in Lafayette, LA.
The family will hold a private ceremony to honor and celebrate Ryan at a later date.
Ryan Davis, was born March 12, 1978, in Elk Grove Village, IL and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. He graduated from Lafayette High School, in Lafayette, LA.
Ryan worked as a shop manager in the automotive industry for over twenty years. He was an easy-going individual, finding it rewarding servicing the people at the shop, many of whom he got to know well over the years. His favorite moments were spent outdoors in nature kayaking, fishing, and target shooting or perhaps all of them. His talent showed through with the jewelry that he designed and created. Ryan showed his artistic side through his jewelry making and also drawings and poetry. His love for music covered almost every genre from country to heavy metal. Ryan enjoyed the beat of music and loved playing the drums and dancing.
Ryan most enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and loved cooking in the kitchen and barbecuing. He relished experimenting with anything and everything in the cabinets. Ryan gardened whenever he could and enjoyed eating the vegetables that he grew. Family and friends meant everything to Ryan and he will be deeply missed.
Ryan is survived by his two children, son, Dylan Davis, of Lafayette, LA and daughter, Cassidy Davis and her husband, Austin Wood, of Lafayette, LA; his parents, Terry and Jodeen Baudino Davis, of Lafayette, LA and his sister, Dana Davis, of Abbeville, LA and friends.
