I did not know Ryan personally, knew him in passing from meals on wheels. He was always smiling and his clients that he delivered to would have to stop working with me so they could speak to him. He will be missed by so many. Thoughts and prayers to his family

I was so sad reading of the loss of your handsome son/brother. What a beautiful thousand watt smile! I worked with Michael and remember him fondly as being very kind and from reading this touching write up, it sounds like that quality was definitely passed on to his son. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of this amazing young man.

Dear Gail and Meaghan, I only met Ryan briefly at various restaurants where we would all run into each other having breakfast.
Ryan pursued a career in library studies similar to my daughter and we talked about that on a few of those meetups. He found his calling.
As I recall, he was a handsome, friendly, and funny guy-like his Dad.
I have been witness to Ryan´s and your journey, and inspired by his and your extraordinary courage.
We don´t or can´t understand why bad things happen to good people, but we can choose to believe there is something more powerful than we know, and that Ryan and Mike are together again.
Sending you much love as you navigate this excruciating loss. Betsy

I worked with Ryan during his time at the Worcester public library, and what stood out the most was his hilarious sense of humor. He really opened up to the kids, and invited them to be their true, authentic selves. He led by example by always being his authentic self, and any of the children that he met will always be better for that. I will always remember his encyclopedic knowledge of offbeat media, and his curious, insatiable mind.

I met Ryan through the music scene over a decade ago and got to know him more through his role at the library and our shared love of comic books. My deepest sympathies to Ryan's family. He was really special.
